Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details included in your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and access times. We review combined usage data to maintain the service and understand which resources are useful. Basic analytics and, when present, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Broward County and Florida records portals, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Information submitted on those sites is governed by their policies, not this one. Sponsored search results are also furnished by a third party under that provider's own practices.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process ordinary server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when required by valid legal process.
Safeguarding Your Information
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, the site holds no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Your place of residence may provide rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by a website. Because Fort Lauderdale Residents Directory retains very little, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs, then removing responsive data when appropriate. Submit a request through the Contact page. Florida, Broward County, and Fort Lauderdale public records are maintained by their government custodians under authorities that include the Florida Public Records Law, Fla. Const. art. I, ยง24 and Fla. Stat. ch. 119. Requests to correct, protect, or remove a government record must be directed to the office that holds it.
Policy Revisions
Revisions will appear on this page. Continued use of the service after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
